Slowly, Surely
Artist: Jill Scott| Song:"Slowly Surely"
“Slowly, surely I walk away from that old desperate and tainted love. Caught up in the maze of love, the crazy craze of love thought it was good, thought it was real, thought it was but it wasn’t love.
I just don’t know where I should go. So, slowly, surely. I walk away from self-serving, undeserving, constantly hurting me love. Deserting me love. You said I said we said, but.
Slowly, surely I walk away from confusing love, misusing love, abusing love. This can’t be. Slowly, surely I walk away from self-serving, undeserving, constantly hurting me love.
I just don’t know where I should go, no. I just don’t know, know, know, know where I should go. So, slowly, surely I walk away from that old desperate and dazed love caught up in the maze of love, the crazy craze of love thought it was good thought it was real thought it was but it wasn’t love.
I just don’t know where to go. So, slowly, surely I walk away from I walk away from.. slowly, surely I walk away from love slowly, surely one step at a time, but surely I will pass the old love aside and love me. Slowly, surely I walk away from. Slowly, surely I walk away from desperate love caught up in the maze love, crazy crazy crazy craze of love.”
Self Care
Welcome back to Flight 0929! Last time we discussed a new product I am selling. Today I am working on adding new affiliates and focusing on self care.
Currently, you can book flights and hotel accommodations via the sidebar! I know you enjoy our virtual flights, but there’s nothing like a real life vaca.
Alrighty, in case you’re wondering I am sharing all of the lyrics because it could resonate with someone wanting to walk away from toxic “love.”
Mistreatment isn’t just physical abuse. Don’t wait for them to act right, that day may never come. Any lack of regard is unacceptable. Know your worth, don’t tolerate any BS.
Happiness comes from within, find it, embrace, don’t allow anyone to steal your joy. We don’t know where we will be tomorrow.
If it’s just a lack of communication, then rekindle that flame, but if they are treating you with anything other than respect… no. Every situation is different, if you’re being abused and don’t feel safe seek help as soon as you can.
Jill is so empowering, I am leaving you with another favorite.
You’re on your path to greatness, you are strong, and you matter. Self-love is EVERYTHING. As Jill said, “One is the magic number.” Embrace being alone sometimes. Focus on you as often as possible it’s life changing.
At the end of the day nothing is guaranteed, so know how to take care of yourself in every sense of the word. Singing, “There’s juuuuust… meeeeeeee… me, me , me!!!” HEEHEE! Can’t wait to see you all next time. Take care.
